Apple will be hosting free classes in the UAE until the end of the month

1. How To: Shoot photos on iPhone
The Apple team will show you how to take stunning pictures using only your iPhone (you know, like the ones you see on all the billboards down Sheikh Zayed Road). All you need to do is bring your iPhone and pay attention (your food snaps are depending on it) as they teach you to capture the perfect indoor and outdoor shot.

2. How To: Edit Photos on iPhone
To help you make your photos look their best, Apple will be exploring some key elements of photo editing using the Photos app for quick fixes or fine adjustments. All you need to do is bring your iPhone and follow the instructions (we’d take notes too). Once you’ve edited your snap, the Apple team will also show you different ways that you can share the photo.

3. How To: Record Video with iPhone
They’ll be covering everything from ways of capturing footage to the different effects you can use to capture your subject (slo-mo, time lapse) to ways of editing the video in post-production.

4. Live Art: Story Lines with Dina Sami
Learn how to illustrate from the mastermind responsible for the Apple’s Dubai Mall mural. Sami will show you how to sketch a unique image that tells a story with one continuous line. All you need to do is bring your iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, if you don’t have one, don’t worry because they will supply you with both.

5. Photo Lab: Playing with Perspective with Jumana El Heloueh
Dubai-based photographer Jumana El Heloueh will share her approach to capturing a cityscape from architecture to aerial perspective. She’ll also be giving out her editing tips and techniques to help you further perfect your shot.

6. Photo Walks: Documenting Travels with Yasmina Boustani
In partnership with VSCO, Dubai-based art director and photographer Yasmina Boustani will be showcasing her travel snaps from around the world. That’s not all, she’ll also be showing you how to capture landscapes, street scenes, and portraits using natural light and various framing techniques. All you need to do is bring your iPhone and a pair of comfortable shoes because you’re going to be walking (A LOT).
