Bentley have just revealed its latest customised luxury SUV and, we have a feeling that the UAE’s falconry enthusiasts are going to love (LOVE) it.

The Bentayga Falconry by Mulliner comes complete with a perch between the two front seats – perfect resting place for your falcon.

There’s also a perch at the back of the car which is also fitted with a master flight section and a case for refreshments.

The master flight station houses a GPS bird tracking unit, binoculars, hand-crafted leather bird hoods and gauntlets, tracking antennas and various tools and tethers. The refreshment case, however, is packed with face cloths, three metal flasks and a blanket.

As for the front of the car, the dashboard features a desert landscape that took nine days and 430 individual pieces of wood to craft.

Speaking on the car, the director of Mulliner (Bentley’s commissioning division) Geoff Dowding said: “The Bentayga Falconry showcases what’s possible with our skilled craftspeople. They can devise elegant and exquisitely executed bespoke solutions to compliment any lifestyle or hobby.”

He added: “Falconry is regarded as the sport of kings in the Middle East, so it was vital that the kit we created was as luxurious as it was practical and durable to appeal to our valued customers there and around the world.”

A royal sport it most certainly is. His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, is regularly snapped taking part in the traditional sport.

In fact, if you scroll through his Instagram account @Faz3, you’ll see a number of snaps of the young royal with the fierce UAE national bird that represents courage and force.
