Last year Emaar announced that their first beachfront resort would be located at Jumeirah Beach Residences. The impressive 77-storey twin tower structure, called The Address Jumeirah Resort + Spa, will be located at the tip of JBR with views of the Ain Dubai and Bluewaters Island.

Emaar have now awarded its main construction to Multiplex Constructions, and the project is already underway, meaning that its on-track to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2020!

The building looks like a piece of modern art, but apparently the shape has function too – the hole in the middle of the towers will maximise light and views around the shimmering façade.

But that’s not even the most exciting part. The 290 metre towers, which are connected at the top and bottom, will have a rooftop infinity pool with some seriously impressive views.

The base of the towers will be home to the lobby, while the top will be for penthouses and sky-lofts. There will also be a selection of restaurants, cafes and bars, as well as a spa and a 24-hour gym. And outside there is 100 metres of beach to enjoy.

“The Address Jumeirah Resort + Spa will be an astonishing development that will redefine the traditional concepts of beachfront hotels. It also underlines our focus on growing as a management company through long-term contracts,” said Chris Newman, Chief Operations Officer of Emaar Hospitality Group.

“While the new property’s imposing architecture will be a key draw for visitors, the proven standards of service defined by The Address Hotels + Resorts will make it a destination of choice for corporate and leisure visitors from around the world. The unparalleled views from the hotel and serviced residences, and the wide range of leisure and wellness pursuits will differentiate the property from the rest.”

We’ve got a lot to look forward to ahead of 2020!
