Attention all fitness fans, the obstacle course for the du Tough Mudder race has officially been revealed. And, it’s hard, really hard.

Back by popular demand, this year’s Tough Mudder race will take place on the grounds surrounding the Hamdan Sports Complex on December 8 and December 9.

Much like previous Tough Mudder races, this one is going to be tough (hence the name) and will feature a number of mentally and physically challenging obstacle courses …

In an attempt to help you survive each one of them, we’ve gathered all nine courses and have come up with a unique tip for each.

The Block Ness Monster
The low down: You will have to push, pull, and roll your way through 60 feet of slick, rotating barriers. The best and only way to tackle this is with help of your teammates.
Our tip: Make sure that one of your teammates is strong, really strong.

Arctic Enema The Re-birth
The low down:
The icy plunge has been updated to include a high-speed entry slide and centre wall that you must scale in order to escape the 10 tons of ice that have been jammed in the frigid dumpster dive.
Our tip: Don’t wear speedos.

The Reach Around
The low down:  Much like its name implies, this obstacle course requires you to reach up and grab hold of something that you cannot see. After scaling up the face of the structure, at a backwards 45-degree angle, you will then be forced to reach up and around the overhang and pull yourself up and over the top.
Our tip: Practise your stretching.

The low down:
You basically have to scale a quarter pipe that is 15 ft tall in shortest time possible.
Our tip: Make sure that you wear shoes with a good grip.

Funky Monkey
The low down: 
The course starts with a pair of monkey bars, angled upward to meet a trapeze. Which, if you can keep your momentum, will send you swinging into an iron pipe descent. Just don’t look down or lose your grip because it’s a 6ft drop and long swim to the other side.
Our tip: Better work on that upper body strength. If not, perfect the art of falling with "grace".

Birth Canal
The low down:
You will have to crawl and push your way through a gauntlet of sloshing and weighted barriers in order to make it to the other side. Oh, you also have to do so with 100lbs of water resting on your back.
Our tip: Take deep breaths.

The Liberator
The low down:
You will have to scale up this nearly vertical structure with a pair of wooden pegs. If you choose the wrong peg whole, you will be sent back to the bottom.
Our tip: Map out your route before you start.

Pyramid Scheme
The low down:
Another course that requires teamwork. You will have to scramble, climb, and push your way up a slippery incline – sounds fun, right? Wrong.
Our tip: Choose your teammates carefully.

Electroshock Therapy:
The low down:
The final leg of the course consists of dangling wires that if touched will deliver a shock of 10,000 volts – lovely.
