The Peruvian Expedition
One of the best Peruvian restaurants in town – and there are more than a few – has just launched a new Friday brunch, which showcases some of the venue’s best dishes in a suitably upbeat setting. The concept is a five-course menu, which includes the likes of Peruvian bao buns with pulled duck and a spiced rocoto sauce, salmon ceviche with asparagus tempura, slow-cooked lamb seco and seafood seco rice. Every Friday 12pm-4pm. AED450 with house beverages, followed by a happy hour at Lima’s bar from 6pm.

112 Main St Bakery
Although it’s not a bakery you can visit, this latest innovation from the guys behind Arrows and Sparrows and Friends Avenue will probably be a much-welcome addition to the Tecom/Green dwellers out there. The new bakery offers a range of hand-crafted baked goods prepared daily, which can be ordered online or by phone and collected from A&S.

Culinary Week at Anantara The Palm Dubai
If you describe yourself as a foodie, food lover, food fan or anything of that sort…listen up. There’s no other place to be this December than Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort. Why? Because the Thai inspired property located on the iconic Palm Jumeirah is all set to host one of the biggest and best culinary celebrations when it kicks off its highly anticipated Culinary Week on Sunday, December 10.

Taking up the spot that Cocktail Kitchen once occupied is this hipsterish, graffiti-covered, grass-walled gastropub, which is bang on-trend with just about every element they’ve crammed into it. The foodie highlights include a spicy duck salad that arrives in an old-school Chinese takeaway box and herb-crusted lamb cutlets.
