Dubai Frame opening hours extended

• The Dubai Frame officially opened its “doors” to the public on January 1 of this year.
• Ticket prices start at AED50 per adult and AED20 per child aged between three and 12.
• Those over the age of 60 as well as people of determination along with two companions will be granted free entry.
• The Dubai Frame was designed by Fernando Donis and his office DONIS and was inspired by the Expo 2020 logo.
• The frame is a staggering 150 metres high and 93 metres wide, and is located in Zabeel Park.
• The top of the frame features a clear glass walkway, which offers guests an impressive 360 view of the city.
• The project also features a gallery and museum both of which, are located on the ground floor and aim to highlight the evolution of the city using both video and still imagery – this can be seen in the video below.

The Yard
The Yard is a 350,000 square foot development connected to Last Exit D89. Developed by Meraas Properties, the landmark features a number of eye catching graffiti paintings and once complete will feature numerous restaurants, cafes and shops. Perhaps its biggest attraction is the “promise bridge”. Based off the Ponts des Arts Bridge in Paris, the attraction allows visitors to write the initial of their loved ones on a padlock and lock it on the bridge as a symbolic pledge of their love for them.

Ras Al Khaimah Zip-line
The zip-line is so long it will be length of 28 football pitches and will be located on top of the enormous Jebal Jais mountain in Ras Al Khaimah. At 1,934 metres high, it’s the tallest mountain in the UAE and the perfect place for thrill-seekers. The attraction will feature two lines, allowing friends and family to experience the speedy drop together. While the exact length of the zip-line is being kept a secret until it officially opens, we do know that it is already expected to break the Guinness World Record for the longest of its kind, and will also be the world’s highest zip-line, too.

Louvre Abu Dhabi
Much like its counterpart in Paris, Louvre Abu Dhabi features a number of alluded art works from leading French institutions such as the Louvre Museum, the Musée d’Orsay and the Centre Pompidou in Paris. Some of the loans include Vincent van Gogh’s self-portrait, Monet’s La Gare Saint-Lazare and Leonardo da Vinci’s La Belle Ferronniére – the first painting by da Vinci to be exhibited in the Middle East. The already world-renowned museum’s design was inspired by the UAE’s rich architecture and tradition.
