Great British Royal Beach Party
In celebration of one of the biggest weddings of the year between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Barasti is hosting a massive British bash at the beach resort. On Saturday, May 19, the Dubai institution will air the entire event on their massive outdoor LED screen. To accompany the action, if you can call it that, there will be a number of live acts and DJs spinning the tunes. You can also get your hands on some British delicacies (think party food, and other nibbles) and the whole place will be decked out in traditional bunting while there will be hats and flags to wave as the couple make their way down the aisle. There’s the promise of some mysterious party games, too.

For AED395, guests can watch the ceremony live while enjoying a number of British culinary delights and drinks. Those looking for something a bit more “fancy” should opt for the “Meghan Sparkle” package that includes unlimited bubbles. Regardless of what package you choose, be sure to wear something old, something borrowed or something blue.

Wild Wadi Water Park
Wild Wadi is known by most for its action packed rides, great views – it’s located opposite the Burj Al Arab and next to Jumeirah Beach Hotel, and its excellent service. When it comes to rides, the Jumeirah Sceirah is our favourite. The ride’s trapdoor mechanism counts down to one before you free fall down the tube. You can document your experience using a GoPro, that is welcome on any and all rides.
Our picks: Jumeirah Sceirah, Tantrum Alley, Burj Surj and Master Blasters
