There’s a lot happening in Dubai this week. Eid al-Fitr is set to take place on Friday, June 15, the FIFA World Cup is all set to kick off this Thursday, June 14 and there’s a new brunch to try.

To celebrate the end of Ramadan and the arrival of the 10th month, the region is getting together for Eid. While there’s tons of foodie events happening, there are also other festivities to mark the three-day holiday. For shoppers, the gift-giving occasion includes sales and bargains at the malls as a teaser to the Dubai Summer Surprises festival. Shopping venues will also see roaming live entertainment with freestyling footballers at the Mall of the Emirates and a wearable art show at The Outlet Village, Ibn Battuta and Dragon Mart 2. And if you just can’t wait, you can get your Dubai Pass now at a 60 percent discount for over 30 deals across the city’s greatest attractions, including experiences such as theme parks, water parks and an indoor skydiving tunnel. Atelier M has set up a fan zone especially for the tournament. Four massive screens will air every single second of the tournament so you can be sure that you won’t miss a single goal, penalty or theatrical dive.
