Dubai to get new AED4 billion gated community called MAG Eye

Dubai is all set to welcome a brand new gated community worth a whopping AED4 billion.

MAG Eye will feature two housing options; apartments and townhouses. The 4,000 flats will vary between studios and one-bedroom apartments while the 536 townhouses will give potential residents the option of three or four bedrooms.

The community will be built by MAG Property Development, the same company behind MAG 218 in Dubai Marina, Emirates Financial Towers in DIFC and MAG 214 in JLT.

MAG Eye will be located in the heart of Mohammed bin Rashid City in Meydan Dubai and will feature a number of restaurants, cafes and retail spaces.

It will also boast a number of green spaces, swimming pools, a kindergarten and a mosque.

Speaking on the project, the CEO of MAG PD Talal Moafaq Al Gaddah said: “At our MAG EYE project, we are presenting an exclusive definition of family housing by providing residents with the highest levels of privacy, comfort, and residential living at a strategic location in the heart of Dubai.”

He added: “Our strategy for 2017 and 2018 is focused on delivering real estate projects that cater to every socio-economic need in the city... combining high quality developments, ideal planning and comprehensive services and facilities to deliver enhanced communities.”

MAG Eye is just one of the many projects that have been announced at this year’s Cityscape Global Conference.

Nakheel revealed its plans of opening six brand new properties to Dubai.  The properties will include a mall, a gated community and a luxury hotel.

While Union Properties announced that will be developing two new properties in Dubai’s Motor City.

The first project will be a massive mall called The Central. The area’s first mall will span across 100,000sqm which will be equally distributed over four floors.

The second development will be a brand new hotel management company.

Al Etihad Hotel Management will develop and manage a number of luxury hotels and furnished residences in Dubai. The project is also expected to provide hospitality services and facilities management for Motor City’s many serviced apartments and hotel rooms.
