4 parties in Dubai this week
Three more riders of the apocalypse are riding into the Casa Latina to unleash their dark, brooding and distorted dance music to provide an antidote to the polished parties elsewhere in the city. From the dark industrial of Osmosis to the EBM from Der Abyss and the ambient textures of Miya Santa, it’s all underpinned by the visuals of Neno Mal Vecino. “Almost everything can be transformed into a sound source,” says the latter. This night proves it.

Jamaican Independence Party
It’s Jamaican Independence Day today, so to celebrate Tribeca will be hosting a huge Caribbean-themed party. They are flying in band D-Tone for the night, so if you are into reggae, reggaeton and dancehall – and, frankly, who isn’t these days? – then this will be the place to sample some authentic Jamaican vibes. Best of all, it’s free entry all night.

Known as Signal, it is presided over by resident DJ Aidin Karami, a classically trained Iranian musician and now events manager who has been weaving his intoxicating blend of techno since his arrival in Dubai five years ago. We asked what to expect from a Signal party.
