Gotha presents Idris Elba
The Luther and Avenger’s star will take to the decks for a midweek party at Dubai’s latest and greatest nightspot. Don’t worry, the actor is well versed in spinning the wheels of steel and always puts on a show of floor-fillers for the crowds. Entry is free for all before midnight, and then AED150 for gentlemen. Ladies will get free drinks between 11pm and 1am.

DJ Jazzy Jeff at Barasti
The Magnificent Jazzy Jeff is heading back to Dubai for one-night only and so naturally he’s hitting up his favourite beach bar, Barasti for another stellar set to close the season. As for the show, just be ready for a night of eclectic beats and tunes from the hit American spinner that will have you dancing all evening.

Ritual presents Oliver Heldens
Zero Gravity’s electric night Ritual returns this week with international superstar and house music pioneer Oliver Heldens at the helm. DJ Tiesto’s prodigy will put on an epic night of tunes, which is bound to include his smash hit, “Gecko” as well as his remixes of Coldplay and Martin Garrix tracks.

Groove On The Grass
See off the end of the winter season in style as Groove on the Grass’s run comes to a close this week. For those that don’t know, the festival brings the hottest best bands, DJs and performers to Emirates Golf Club for an art and music showcase. This week German DJ Apparat and Maribou State from the UK are on hand for a pumping set. They’ll be joined by Austrian band HVOB and British sensation Max Cooper. As always you can enjoy a selection of fashion and art at the marketplace, a handful of sunset games and other activities. Tickets are AED160.

Blue Marlin is getting a distinct candy flavoured makeover this weekend as they host a lineup of electro-music artist. The live duo act of Underher will kick things off before  the Italian maestro, Lehar hits the stage. To cap the night off, Detroit legend and house music extraordinaire, Carl Craig will put on a showcase of his signature bouncing beats.

80’s Night
Time to dig out your retro clothes for this night dedicated to the fluorescent decade. There are 80s themed beverages and the staff are all in fancy dress to set the tone for the rest of the evening.
