White Dubai
The latest act set to grace White’s iconic all (you guessed it) white stage is American rapper Nelly. The award-winning artist from Missouri will be belting a string of hits which includes “Dilemma”, “Just A Dream” and “Hot in Herre”. With temperatures set to reach over 40 degrees we sure it will most definitely be hot (and humid) but luckily there will be fans.

Groove on the Grass
For their closing party Groove on the Grass have lined up a four-pronged attack, including German DJ and producer Ellen Allien, who has been at the forefront of the techno scene since its earliest days and been a resident at some of Berlin’s most influential clubs. Also on the bill is US DJ Kenny Glasgow, who is better known as one half of Art Department.

Zero Gravity
There’s a ton of acts set to perform at Zero Gravity before its last Big Friday on May 19. First up is Disciples. If you’re unfamiliar with the name, you’ll most definitely know their music. No? Ok, they’re the guys who collaborated with Calvin Harris to create last year’s mega-hit “How Deep Is Your Love”. Up next is British rapper and singer Example who will have the crowd dancing to his tunes like “Changed The Way You Kissed Me” and “Midnight Run”. Ending off the massive May line-up is Martin Solveig. The spinner responsible for hits like “Intoxicated” and “Hey Now” will be joined by Black Saint and mixing duo Showhawk.

Lilly Singh – How to be a Bawse Book Tour
Actress, YouTube sensation and author Lilly Singh is all set to bring her brutally honest yet completely true book about achieving success to Dubai. If you haven’t read “How to be a Bawse” yet because not only has it scored a 5/5 rating from Barnes & Noble it’s also funny, to the point and incredibly honest, much like her YouTube persona IISuperwomanII.

Decibel season closing party
German spinner Alex Bau will be in his words “providing the soundtrack for his actors [guests] to dance”. Expect to hear a mix of classic dance music and some underground tunes when Bau shifts from one record to another. We say record because he’s one of the view DJs that still use vinyl records in his set.

Lightening Seeds, Toploader and The Farm
With the Lightening Seeds, Toploader and The Farm all set to perform on the same day Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium will be hosting what could only be called one of the biggest British Indie Pop line-ups that the region has ever seen. Expect a night-filled with classic tunes like Toploader’s “Dancing in the Moonlight” and the Lightening Seeds’ “Life of Riley”, memories and maybe even a few tears.

Al Gaffal Long Distance Dhow Race
Paying homage to the nation’s famed pearl diving past, the long distance race will see a number of Emirati only teams take to the city’s shore in mammoth 60ft dhows to compete for first place. The annual race primarily endorsed by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and the Minister of Finance and Industry of the UAE, will either take place on May 13 or May 20 depending on the weather conditions. Cirque de Cuisine at Atlantis, The Palm

Dubai Duty Free Darts Masters
The Dubai Duty Free Darts Masters, aka the only tournament on the circuit played outdoors, is being held for a fifth time at the city’s tennis stadium, gathering the sports leading players for a two-day showdown. Aside from some seriously impressive aiming skills we’re looking forward to seeing what hair colour Peter Wright will be sporting.
