Nakheel just announced six massive new Dubai projects
The Cityscape Global conference officially starts today and, let’s just say that we’re pretty excited to hear about all the upcoming projects that will be announced over the next three days.
While the event which sees hundreds of real estate companies come together to both support and highlight “iconic architecture and significant developments” only starts at 10am today (Monday, September 11), Nakheel has already announced that it will be revealing not one but six brand new projects.
The first of which will be a 38-floor development called Palm Beach Residences. It will house 250 luxury one, two and three-bedroom apartments as well as a sky lounge that will feature uninterrupted views of the city. Construction is set to start in the second quarter of 2018.
The second is the Discovery Gardens Mall which has been described as a retail, hospitality and healthcare development. The project will include 370,000 sq ft of new retail space and a hotel that will feature over 300 hotel rooms.
The third is Jenan Heights. A gated community that will feature 2,500 homes which will be spread over nine towers. The property will be located along the brand new metro route, Route 2020, and is expected to break ground in the second quarter of 2018.
Nakheel is also set to introduce two new projects to the Jumeriah Park community.
Jumeriah Park Villas will feature over 170 luxury four bedroom houses that will span across 3,650 sq ft to 4,150 sq ft. The villas will include a private garden, maid’s room and a rooftop entertainment area.
The Dubai-based developer also announced the Jumeirah Park Leisure project. The project will feature an Olympic-sized swimming pool, spa, dining and retail area as well as a gym that will span across 16,000 sq ft – impressive. Construction for both Jumeirah Park developments is set to start in the second quarter of 2018.
And it doesn't stop there. Nakheel is set to introduce a brand new hotel to the Jumeirah Village Circle area. The hotel will feature 252 rooms and will offer mid-scale hospitality. The hotel will feature an all-day restaurant, café, gym and pool.
