When it comes to celebrating New Year’s in Dubai, it seems like the Burj Khalifa fireworks is on everyone’s to do list. So, to help you secure the best spot and, possibly, enjoy a quality meal while watching the world-renowned phenomenon, we’ve shortlisted five great places to celebrate the beginning of a new year in Downtown Dubai.

Ditch dinner tables and chairs for private Arabian tents at this poolside lounge. Tucked behind luxurious drapes, the tents offer an element of exclusivity – perfect for those who want a bit more privacy. Just remember to step out of your cabana at midnight as the venue offers stunning views of The Dubai Fountain and the Burj Khalifa fireworks. The live band isn't bad either.
