12 things to do in Dubai this weekend
Taste Of Dubai
Food, glorious food is what it’s all about at Dubai Amphitheatre this weekend with the return of Taste of Dubai. Now in its eleventh year, the show is going to be bigger than ever with a host of new activities, celebrity chefs and international acts performing alongside the delicacies. For those that don’t know, Taste of Dubai is a one-stop-shop for guests to sample cuisine from some of Dubai’s world class restaurants. However, the festival of food (feastival?) is garnished with live demonstrations from celebrity chefs such as Eric Lanlard and Valentine Werner, cooking challenges and barista workshops to work on your latte skills. New for this year’s event are the Italian Taste Pavilion where you can watch Michelin Starred chefs whip up pasta, pizzza and anything in between, a tasting table with the chefs and a workshop exploring savoury butters such as seaweed and citrus. It’s going to be immense, so be sure to arrive hungry. Sister Sledge will be performing tonight (March 8), so be sure to wear comfy shoes too.
