Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi to open this July
We’ve lost count of the number of theme parks in the UAE. There’s Legoland, Motiongate, Bollywood Dubai and IMG Worlds of Adventure, to name a few. And soon to join the party will be Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, which is set to open its doors on July 25 this year.
The park will feature a themed hotel and 29 state of the art rides which will be divided into a number of zones such as Bedrock (The Flintstones), Metropolis (Superman) and Gotham (Batman).
The attraction is expected to bring around 1,000 new jobs to the capital and give a huge boost to tourism. Visitor numbers at Yas Island are currently at 25 million, but it’s expected that Warner Bros park could take them up to an impressive 30 million in the opening year.
The park will be owned by Warner Bros and Miral, the government-owned company who also own Yas Waterworld and operate Ferrari World.
Tickets start at AED295 per adult and AED230 for kids.
