The Laughter Factory Tour
Fresh off the back of the widely successful tour that included the excellent Sophie Hagen, Mark Watson and Glenn Wool, comes a brand new May tour that’s equally as riotous. The Laughter Factory is flying in three more side-splitters in the shape of longtime funny woman, Jojo Sutherland, young upstart Adam Rowe and popular US comedian, Louis Ramey. As part of the new tour, a couple of new venues have been added to the regular Laughter Factory haunts – Jumeirah Islands Club and the brand new Jebel Ali Club. Stereophonics
The Welsh band will be rocking the emirate this weekend. They’re celebrating 20 years since their debut album and if their 2015 Dubai gig is anything to go by, you can expect an energetic set that will leave their hits ringing in your ears. “Local Boy in the Photograph”, “I Wouldn’t Believe Your Radio” and “Dakota” will all get an airing. Plan B will on hand to lend the band some support with his mega-hits like “She Said” and “Stay Too Long”.

The Mentalist at the Junction
German stage performer, Juliet Arndt wants to dig into your mind at her show. From mind reading and hypnosis to psychology and storytelling, the performance is fascinating and demands audience participation for those that are brave enough. Arndt tours the world with her one-woman show and will team up with local band, Cosmic Roots for an enthralling evening.

Salt Black Summer
Salt’s dark and limited edition menu is back for another year. The comfort food specialists Black Summer theme sees your favourite burgers, sides and desserts served up in black, which are sure to bring in the Likes on Instagram. Until the beginning of Ramadan, you can grab Wagyu beef sliders and crispy chicken fillets packed inside a black bun. Thick cut fries coated in black salt and vinegar sauce and a refreshing black lemonade that’s activated by charcoal. You can even bag three items off the menu for just AED75, too.

Fogo de Chão happy hour
There’s another great reason to head to the Brazilian steakhouse during the week. The new happy hour is available 4pm-7pm, Sunday to Thursday and includes 2-4-1 on beverages and Brazilian bites such as tasty Coxhina chicken bites, beef pastels and the venue’s signature Picanha burger and braised beef sliders.

Ting Irie Island Daze Brunch
Head to the Jamaican favourite for its all-new Friday brunch. Gotha Presents Steve Aoki
Superstar DJ Steve Aoki is set make his presence felt at Gotha this week. The Grammy nominated and Guinness World Record ((Longest Crowd Cheer and Most Traveled Musician in One Year) holding spinner is one of the most in-demand artists around, so we’re lucky that he’s here at all. Dixon and Vaal at Blue Marlin Ibiza UAE
It’s the closing weekend of the party spot and the venue plans to go out with a bang. UK DJ Vaal will be pumping out her emotive sounds through the deep macabre tunes that she’s gained fame for. Then it’s the turn of German artist Dixon who has been an underground legends since the early 90s. He’s quietly built a solid reputation for evocative tunes that has propelled him to the top of the Resident Advisor’s Top DJ poll for four years running.

The Mansion featuring Timati
One of Russia’s most successful hip-hop artists is coming to town. Timati has had hits all over the world and collaborated with the industry heavyweights such as P.
