Gipsy Kings
Wafi Concerts on Wafi’s Rooftop Gardens are always popular at this time of year, and the famous Franco-Spanish musical troupe the Gipsy Kings ought to maintain the interest. The band, put together by André Reyes, has been a live staple for 30 years and their flamenco-tinged music will get feet tapping.

St Patrick’s Day
Hosted by McGettigan’s, who know a thing or two about Irish hospitality, this all-day celebration of Irishness includes a BBQ brunch and a concert featuring the likes of The Coronas, Walking On Cars, Gavin James and the Stars Of The Commitments. There are also traditional Irish dancers and plenty of refreshments. It doesn’t matter if you were born and raised in County Meath or merely once bought a Corrs CD, everybody’s Irish on Paddy’s Day. Don’t forget to wear green.

Subb-an, the nom de guerre of Birmingham minimal house/techno DJ Ashique Subhan, has been one of the most consistent forces on the UK underground scene for the last decade. He has also become a regular at the likes of Fabric, DC10, Warung and Amnesia.

Piknic Electronic Dubai
This is the first edition of 2017 for one of our favourite open-air parties. There are six more events to look forward to before the weather does its worst, and the season kicks off with Dubai-forged DJ Raxon. Plenty of food and family-friendly activities, too.
