Hidden sanctuary at Amara Spa, Park Hyatt Dubai
Tucked away within the Park Hyatt Dubai’s creekside hotel is the Amara Spa, a collection of private courtyards, treatment rooms and swimming pool that transport you away from the hustle and bustle of the busy city and beyond.
With all the usual treatments and massages you might expect from a world class spa, Amara is currently championing its outdoor cabana concept, implemented in February. Treatment rooms are replaced by personal poolside cabanas, situated in a secluded area away from the pool. It offers a great compromise between privacy, and the opportunity to enjoy your treatment in the great outdoors.
The signature ‘Diamond’ treatment is highly recommended, intended to energise and revive the skin with a heady blend of frankincense and sandalwood-infused oil. 60-minutes goes by very quickly when you’re this relaxed, but unlike other spas in the region, the Park Hyatt invites you to use the pool facilities after your massage.
There are the usual sauna, steam and relaxation facilities, but clever spa-goers can turn one 60-minute treatment into a day at the pool, complete with lunch courtesy of the healthy meal options offered by the spa’s own restaurant.
