Nnamdi Eluwah is a PUMA Suede Guerrilla, DJ and music producer. He’s going to test you on your knowledge of the Dubai streets and your cool factor – how many of these bars have you been to? Here are 10 hidden gems to party at in Dubai. Forget the usual hangouts in the Marina and DIFC. These places offer something a bit different.

Industrial Avenue
This edgy venue behind the China Grill is buzzing every Thursday when Analog Room host their weekly party. The name describes the vibe! As soon as you walk in you instantly think you’ve been transported to 1995 Berlin. The walls are concrete and it looks like a room in an abandoned building.

The Living Room
JW Marriott Marquis’ Living Room is a three-in-one bar, lounge and club in a great spot for an intimate Friday night out. The people make this club – every time I go I encounter a number of characters who make my night out. It always has a good atmosphere and with the best music.

COA aka Club of Asia
This place is a bit off the beaten track, but it has some great food, live performances and a party atmosphere. The club is full of people letting go and having fun.

Las Vegas Nightclub Dubai
If you were at any of the Satwa3k parties that went down here you know this place is a living legend. I recommend going here at least once if you want to have a great night out.

St Andrews
I recommend it if you want to take things down a notch. It’s not a fancy place but the perfect place to go for some chilled out drinks.

Miss Lily’s
I’m sure people are aware of this Jamaican-themed spot but I have to put this on here! Restaurant during the day and club at night, it’s got some crazy-good vibes. I’m sure people come back for the vibe alone. Lily’s is making a name for itself. Check it out if you know what’s good for you.

Ting Irie
Also a Jamaican restaurant with some delicious authentic food, this place gets wild at night. With ‘Ting Irie’ literally translating to ‘everything’s good’ the good atmosphere, good food and good people is a given. The Caribbean décor and outstanding Jamaican cocktails are something to look out for.

Hobo Club/ Aux Lords night (BrothrsKeepr)
The Hobo club is a good one. It’s got a secretive appeal; you’re taken through the back of a car park and find a club hidden in another club. However it’s the BrothersKeepr Aux Lord nights that go off! It’s becoming the spot to head to, the closing party this year was insane and I’m sure many more big nights are to come. You can catch me Djing here on July 21st.

Ten Street
This place is, in my opinion, the kept secret when it comes to bars. We can’t always splash our money on expensive drinks so when we find a spot where we can buy drinks relatively cheaply, it’s a winner. The walls are covered with interesting graffiti and the bar area is well lit and lively.
