Dubai Municipality has launched a food donation initiative called ‘Heafz Al Na’amah’, to collect extra food from banquets, hotel buffets and even weddings. And there are plenty of other ways to embrace the goodwill vibes. Giving back to the community, or others in need across the world, is easy to do. There’s a constant need for blood to help the likes of Thalassemia patients, road accident victims, and people undergoing operations. The need for blood far outweighs the speed that Dubai Blood Donation Centre can collect it, so if you’re brave enough to donate, you can be safe in the knowledge that you’re making a big difference.

Noor Dubai
On the homepage of Noor Dubai’s website, it says that almost 80 percent of the world’s blindness is curable. It’s facts like this that encouraged His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai to start the charity. There are a number of different ways to get involved, from donating via the website to contributing to the blog.
