A unicorn shake has just landed in Dubai

The world is obsessed with all things unicorn at the moment… or at least it seems that way if you scroll through Instagram.

Speaking of unicorns and Instagram, there’s a new dessert in town, and it’s almost impossible to eat it without uploading a picture.

The “unicorn shake” has just launched at GoNuts Truck on the Palm Jumeirah Boardwalk. As well as being a perfect photo opportunity, it sounds like it’s got a week’s worth of calories. The milkshake is covered with whipped cream, marshmallows, a doughnut and a waffle cone for a horn.

The mega-drink is AED45, which sounds like quite a lot for a milkshake, but when you consider the fact that it pretty much has two desserts on top of it, it’s not too bad.

The ‘freakshake’ trend first kicked off in 2015, and since then it’s been all over social media. Originating in Australia, the calorific jars of awesomeness aren’t just a fix for sugar cravings, they’re pretty much a piece of food art.
