The world’s first ‘MasterChef the TV experience’ restaurant coming to Dubai
Foodies listen up! The world’s first “MasterChef the Tv Experience” restaurant is set to open in Dubai.
And while the restaurant, that will be located in the soon to be opened Wyndham West Bay Dubai Marina Hotel, will not see culinary aficionados compete for the title of “MasterChef”, it will showcase the talents and recipes of previous MasterChef contestants.
In short, should you visit, you will be treated to a menu that will feature popular original dishes that were conceived and inspired by contestants and former champions.
We are excited. Not just because it sounds like it will make for a great night out but because the show’s creator, Endemol Shine Group, has given it its seal of approval.
“[The restaurant] is an exciting opportunity for audiences in this market to enjoy a unique and immersive dining experience that will truly reflect the values, quality and integrity associated with MasterChef,” said Frances Adams, director of Endemol Shine Group.
While we’re on the topic of new restaurants, here’s a list of three venues that will be making their Dubai debut this year.
1. Morimoto
The new Renaissance Downtown Hotel has just opened but January will see the launch of Chef Masaharu Morimoto’s two-floor restaurant. The ex-Nobu head chef has starred on TV cooking show The Iron Chef for many years, while some of his restaurants in Japan have been awarded Michelin stars. The Dubai restaurant will also have private rooms you can hire with access via your own PIN.
