No ties at Le Petit Belge
Thursday evenings in Business Bay have just become even more exciting as Le Petit Belge launches an afterwork offering that’s not to be missed. “No Ties” is the theme at the Belgian bar and demands you rid yourself of work, pressure and other unwanted commitments across a happy hour that lasts for, get this, ten hours. From 4pm until 2am you can grab a whole host of beverages for a discounted price. Need more convincing to go? Well, they’ve also got the Take The Shot brunch that’s packed with great food, and even more beverage deals.

International Burrito Day
No, we’d never heard of it either, but we’re certainly on board with any occasion that celebrates the humble burrito. Taqado is offering customers four burritos for the price of two on April 6 at stores across the country. All you have to do is use the hashtag #InternationalBurritoDay, tag Taqado and then show the post to the staff to claim your feast. Go hungry, or go home.

Expect prawn spring rolls, maki hand rolls, a healthy portion of sweet and sour curries, along with other signature delicacies that make us love Asian food so much.

Wavebreaker
With its laidback terrace overlooking the Arabian Gulf, Wavebreaker is a casual setting from which to enjoy afternoon drinks, or a relaxed lunch with friends. The spot can get busy when the DJ is on, but a large location right next to the beach always affords an unhurried air. The food offering is diverse, from seafood and grills to Arabic favourites as well as a charcoal BBQ.
