8 great all-day breakfasts in Dubai

If you’re one of those people who just can’t drag yourself out of bed before 12pm, it’s OK. We’re not here to judge, we’re here to help. This list of fantastic all-day breakfast options in Dubai should make sure that you don’t miss out on your eggs benedict and cappuccino, no matter how late you rise.

IHOP
With a setting that’s laidback and casual, this pancake house offers more than just the flat cake on its menu. Those cravings of being able to have crepes, waffles or eggs at any hour of the day are sorted here. Word of caution: with so much on offer, deciding what you actually want could be a tiresome process.  If our suggestion counts, the New York cheesecake pancake is the stuff dreams are made of.

Eggspectation
As the name suggests, it’s quite an egg-focused menu. There are eight different types of eggs benedict to try, including “Bravocado”, which is two eggs served inside an avocado with melted parmesan, or “Lobster Benny” with Nova Scotia lobster on a toasted English muffin. The huge menu also has many kinds of pancakes and waffles, just in case you fancy starting the day with a treat.

Kaftan Turkish Cuisine & Fine Art
A modern restaurant bringing Dubai Ottoman and Turkish dishes. There are traditional pastries to have with a cup of something hot, but if you’re looking for a more filling breakfast there are plenty of options available. The “Turkish Breakfast” comes with various types of cheese, olives and toasted bread.

The Sum of Us
A sister restaurant to Tom & Serg, this place has got that industrial-chic hipster vibe covered. When we say it’s an all-day breakfast, it finishes at 5pm, but that’s pretty much the whole day. Highlights include the smoked salmon rilletee on truffle waffle, which has avocado, cottage cheese, rochet and caper dressing. The spicy scrambled free range eggs is also great.

Circle Café
With plenty of cafes around the city, you’re never far from a Circle. The menu is packed with breakfast greats, including the “Big Breakfast” which comes with eggs, Portobello mushroom, avocado, halloumi cheese, cherry tomatoes and shredded bbq beef – there’s nothing greasy about this fry up. You’ll also find the likes of Middle Eastern baked beans served with fried onion, Arabic bread and olive oil.

Brothaus Bakery – Bistro
Tucked in a little corner of Steigenberger Hotel in Business Bay, this German gem offers breakfast until 5pm (that’s practically all day, well, all day at work at least). Options might be limited, with just two choices available, but we assure you it will be a hearty affair. There’s the traditional breakfast which includes Bavarian sausage, fried eggs and lye rolls or the Middle Eastern breakfast with grilled halloumi, ful medames and za’atar roll.

Common Grounds
From the guys behind Tom & Serg and The Sum of Us, this neighbourhood café serves a pretty extensive breakfast menu until 4pm every day. The health conscious can dive into bowls of fruit, acai or even chia pudding. For the rest of us, they’re dishes such as Kashmiri Florentine, veggie tacos, Egyptian baked free-range eggs. It’s okay to find some of the stuff too pretty to eat.
