Emirates Adds 5 New Airbuses Ahead Of The Expected Rush This Summer

Emirates Airlines is preparing for a comeback summer rush after the pandemic setback. The Dubai-based airline is increasing its airbuses, adding 5 brand-new A350 ones to various routes

The Chief Commercial Officer,  Mr. Adnan Kazim, declared that the demands from the customers are still on the rise showing strong levels and the airline is looking forward to a very robust year with exceptional recovery, for sure to surpass the recorded levels during the year 2022.

Emirates is all set to make a strong recovery and is optimistic about the peak upcoming season

Adnan Kazim reported to the sources that on the occasion of Dubai hosting the Arabian Travel Market (ATM 2023), the Emirates is deploying a fleet of 85 A380s which will increase to 95 in the peak summer season within the conclusion of the financial year next March.

He also added that this large wide-bodied airliner will be serving 43 destinations in the flight schedules for this summer

Mr. Kazim revealed that the airline will operate around 3080 departure flights every week or more than 440 flights per day for the passengers within the limits of its global network.

In addition to that, he also reported that the Emirates agency is planning on investing more volume in the North American markets and other global markets like China, in accordance with the issuance of more aircraft into services.

The Chief Commercial Officer also said that the airline is all set to introduce its debut flights to 5 new cities: London, Christchurch, Sydney, Melbourne, and Auckland, in addition to San Francisco, where the services will be starting from 15th July, Singapore, staring from 1st of July and Houston will be offered the services from 15th of June.

Emirates is one of the flag carriers of the UAE along with Etihad. The largest airline in the country, this airline operates over 3,600 flights per week providing services to more than 150 cities in 80 countries across the globe with its fleet of around 300 aircraft.

This Dubai-based airline is a subsidiary of the Emirates group, collectively owned by the Dubai government and Investment Corporation.

This airline has been actively engaging in activities aligning with this year’s theme announced by the President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan commemorating the theme of sustainability and introducing actions and initiatives that fall on par with the theme in addition to celebrating the legacy of the founding father of the nation His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

Emirates Airlines have put forward efforts to decrease the carbon footprint that is found to be increasing in volume with the growth in the number of passengers.

Mr. Kazim proudly said that Emirates has accomplished a flight demonstration fueled by 100 percent sustainable aviation fuel ( SAF ), in alliance with the global aviation industry’s urging to utilize more of the greener fuels to follow the carbon emission targets stipulated by the authorities. Emirates is also recorded to have recycled 500,000 kg of plastic and glass materials that were thrown after use on the board flights.
