Flydubai Great Offer For Families Everything You Need To Know

If you’re planning a trip for the entire family, you might want to take note of Flydubai’s family offer. The Dubai-based airline is giving away one free ticket to families travelling with their little ones.

“As a special offer for families, you can now book an adult return ticket in Flydubai’s Economy Class from Dubai to select destinations and get a free child ticket,” the official offer reads. The main catch is you have to book your tickets before February 12 for travel before June 5 of this year.

It is also important to note that taxes and surcharges will apply to the complimentary kid’s ticket and they need to be paid at the time of booking. With over 20 different destinations on the list, we decided to shortlist our favourite four, you know to help you out a little…

1. Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

East Africa’s most populated city, Dar es Salaam is home to Tanzania’s arts, fashion, music and film industries. The multicultural city’s top attractions include the historical Aksari Monument, the National Museum of Dar es Salaam and the Village Museum which provides an insight into the tribes of the country.

Off the coast of Dar, you can enjoy a swim in the tropical Indian Ocean at islands such as Bongoyo and Mbuja. Not a water baby? That’s alright. The delicious seafood and white sands will make your trip worthwhile.
Flight duration: 5 hours 40 minutes

2. Alexandria, Egypt

The Mediterranean port city was home to a lighthouse ranking among the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World during the Hellenistic period. The city, now a major economic centre in Egypt, is a treasure trove of history.

Some of the places worth visiting include the architecturally stunning Montazah Palace or Pompey’s Pillar – a column erected to honour Roman Emperor Diocletian. Those looking to dive (literally) into Egyptian history can check out Cleopatra’s Palace, a landmark that sunk 1400 years ago.
Flight duration: 4 hours 30 minutes

3. Prague, Czech Republic

Its rich history makes the capital of the Czech Republic a popular tourist destination and the most visited European city after London, Paris, Istanbul and Rome.

Prague, Czech Republic

Immerse yourself in the culture at the Old Town Square (with city walking tours available for free) or Prague Castle before signing up for a guided food tour followed by a late night walk on the Charles Bridge – think a clear night, shiny stars and views of the old city’s skyline.
Flight duration: 6 hours 50 minutes

4. Bucharest, Romania

Often referred to as Paris of Eastern Europe, Romania’s capital showcases elegant architecture – a mix of neo-classical and art deco – and history alongside a buzzing party scene. Among our list of places to explore, the top spots include Old Town where you’ll see restaurants, cafes and bars housed in grand buildings, the Palace of Parliament and Food Hood Bucuresti – a hub for Bucharest’s food carts.

You won’t regret a day trip to two of Transylvania’s most stunning castles – Dracula and Peles – either. Instagram at the ready!
Flight duration: 5 hours 30 minutes

And while we’re on the topic of travel, here are eight destinations you can explore with flights for less than AED2,000. Also, if you’re an impatient traveller, here’s how to get your bags out first when you land.
