Yanni Live
Blending classical, jazz, adult rock and easy listening, Greek composer and keyboardist Yanni has been a near-ubiquitous presence on global album charts over the last three decades, racking up a combined 40 platinum and gold albums across the world and album sales totalling over 25 million. That’s practically an industry in itself. This will be his first ever appearance in Abu Dhabi and the tickets for his first scheduled show sold out almost instantly, prompting a second show the night before. This is all part of his world tour which began in the US back in February to support his latest album Sensuous Chill, and in Abu Dhabi he will be supported by a 15-member orchestra.

Cinema – Masterminds (15)
Hollywood’s current comedy in-crowd has assembled to make this slapstick retelling of the Loomis Fargo Bank Robbery in 1997. Zach Galifianakis plays David Scott Ghantt, an employee of the security firm who is persuaded by Steve Chambers (Owen Wilson) and former Loomis co-worker Kelly Campbell (Kristen Wiig) to raid the company vault. Add Jason Sudeikis and two more Ghostbusters, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones, and you have the right blend of laugh lines and cartoon capers as they make off with $17.3 million. Fun.
In cinemas from September 29
