A special dinner with take place on both evenings for AED550 per person, which includes a three-course pairing menu featuring signature dishes like king crab and lobster cocktail, beef wellington and truffle mash and a trio of desserts.

The restaurant will also put on a special Friday family brunch, which includes free entry into The Lost Chambers Aquarium. For AED395 per adult you’ll get house beverages and a range of classic British dishes, served with music courtesy of a street-style busker.

Gordon Ramsay will make an appearance at these events to celebrate Bread Street’s special anniversary… but don’t worry, he won’t have you screaming “YES CHEF!”

INTERVIEW: Gordon Ramsay on Dubai being his toughest launch yet

Last time he was here, we asked him about the restaurant’s opening and, true to Kitchen Nightmares form, he didn’t hold back. “The launch was a nightmare,” he told us with surprising candour. “We upset this person because he wasn’t invited and that person was a high-society model and didn’t get an invite. Oh please, really? So much politics. Nightmare.”

When we asked him why he was back so soon after the launch, he hinted that he would be in Dubai quite regularly saying: “A lot of chefs visit once a year and label-slap. They stick their name above the door and then disappear. I’m going to be different, you’ll see I have a much more modern approach.”

This is Ramsay’s sixth Break Street Kitchen, with sister restaurants in the likes of London, Singapore and New York.

Spaces for the special anniversary events will be limited so make sur you reserve well in advance. Contact +971 4 426 1110 or email
