Chris Brown has cancelled his concert at RedFestDXB due to ‘scheduling conflicts’, according to the festival’s Facebook page. The R&B singer was set to perform on February 2 at Media City Amphitheatre.

It’s two for the price of one though, as Brown has already been replaced by man-of-the-moment Sean Paul and American rapper G-Eazy. The new acts will perform on the first day of the festival, joining Daya and The Veronicas on the line-up.

This comes after news that Chris Brown and Soulja Boy are set to settle a Twitter fued in the boxing ring. Brown posted a video on his Instagram saying “let’s get ready to rumble”. According to reports the fight will be in March and you should be able to watch it on pay-per-view.

Professional boxer Floyd Mayweather is reported to be training Soulja Boy, and he’s also said to be promoting the three-round event. Scary stuff!

But back to the festival. RedFestDXB 2017 will take place on Thursday, February 2 and Friday, February 3. Other artists on the line-up include Demi Lovato, Mike Posner, Tove Lo and Alessia Cara, with Dany Neville.

If you bought your ticket via Ticketmaster on the basis that you were desperate to see Chris Brown (hey, we’re not judging you), you can contact 800 86823 to request a refund.
