It was a proud moment for Sheikha Mozah Al Maktoum and her family yesterday, as she boarded her first assisted flight as a commercial pilot.

Members of the ruling family sent their congratulations, with Sheikha Latifa Al Maktoum posting: “My niece  our first female pilot from the family on her first assisted flight as a commercial pilot. Proud of you! The sky is not the limit. As long as you can dream it you can achieve it.” Below she explained in Arabic that the picture shows her sisters daughter ready for her first assisted flight as a commercial pilot with Emirates.
