Unstable weather to continue in the UAE until Tuesday

We know that the rain has put a damper on all of our tanning sessions and outdoor activities (nothing like cancelling your camping trip for the third time) lately, but we’ve got some good news, it’s supposed to stop raining by Tuesday.

According to the latest bulletin released by the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS), the region’s wet spell should die down if not completely disappear by Tuesday.

The weather for tomorrow is expected to be unsteady in general. With the NCMS reporting that the amount of clouds will “increase over most areas, associated with a rainfall of different intensity over scattered areas, and may be thundery at times”.

Motorists have also been warned to take extra precaution as there will be “strong at times over the sea, causing blowing sand/dust with poor visibility, especially over exposed areas”.

The weather for Tuesday, however, is looking much better with NCMS predicting that the clouds will decrease and that “the relative humidity will increase over some coastal and internal areas during night and early morning”.

Basically what this means is from Tuesday onwards, the region’s infamous summer will start creeping up on us..

Now that the weather’s expected to return to its regular hot self, we’ve prepared a list of five activities for you to do to help you take advantage of the last few days of “spring”.

1. Go to the beach
If you’re new to region, we mean don’t really mean the beach, we’re talking about beach clubs. There’s Nikki Beach, Blue Marlin Ibiza, Saadiyat Island and much, much more.

2. Go for a jog
This you can do at an actual beach – Umm Suqeim’s Kite Beach to be more specific.

3. Go sandboarding
It’s just like snowboarding, only it hurts slightly less and isn’t as fast.

4. Go shopping
No, not in a mall, in an outdoor mall like City Walk, JBR’s the Beach and BoxPark. If you’re looking to bag a bargain and explore some of the city’s oldest sights, we recommend Karama and the Dubai Gold Souk.
