Thinking about buying a new phone but need to save up for your next holiday? Well from April 28, you can now do both.

Samsung has just announced that those who purchase their latest phone model, the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+, will receive a whopping 30 per cent discount on all Etihad Business and Economy class tickets. The offer also extends to seven of Etihad’s partnering airlines.

That’s not all, the multi-billion dollar conglomerate also announced that customers who purchase the sleek new models that will be available in the UAE from April 28 will receive up to 40 per cent discount on hotel bookings worldwide as well as a 12 per cent discount coupon with hotel.com.

If you don’t believe us, here’s what Samsung’s official statement said: “Those who purchase the Galaxy S8 and S8+ will be able to explore the world in style and enjoy 30 per cent off in Economy and Business Class with Etihad Airways.

“Furthermore, customers will be able to save up to 40 per cent on hotel bookings worldwide and enjoy an extra 12 per cent off coupon in partnership with hotels.com. This offer is exclusively available to customers in the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and Kuwait.”

Now that we’ve got all the added bonuses of what buying the S8 and or S8+ will get you, let's look at some of the neat features that your new phone will have.

The 5.8-inch S8 and 6.2-inch S8+ will both feature an “infinity display” with a bezel-less design. The result, Samsung says, “is no buttons or harsh angles”.

The phones also feature a faster processor, fingerprint scanner and an 8MP front camera and 12MP rear camera. And, much like their predecessor, they’re both also water and rust resistant.

That’s you’re next holiday, snapping and mapping gear sorted then.
