Apple announce opening date of new Dubai store

Dubai Apple fans, listen up. The new Apple store will open in The Dubai Mall on April 27 at 4pm!

The two-level shop will offer a “front row view” of the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Fountain, and it’s expected to be the largest Apple store in the UAE.

If there’s one thing Apple is known for – apart from putting iPhones in the hands of 33 percent of the world’s population – its stores. The brand’s retail locations are so much more than bricks and mortar, with huge open spaces, massive glass fronts, a Genius Bar and products that you’re welcomed to try out.

There is currently a special barricade surrounding a two level storefront. The barricade’s design represents over 35 local enterprises.

While many retails want to discourage people from loitering in their stores, Apple has always been different, encouraging a laid back vibe where people can pop-in and play around on the latest MacBook Pro, or have a quick lesson on how to use their new toy.

The Dubai Mall store will be no different, acting as a “meeting point for the creative-minded people, and a place of learning and inspiration that combines East and West.” According to the announcement, “Visitors will be able to create, collaborate, and experience the best of Apple, all in one place”.

This comes after the brand launched two stores simultaneously in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, taking prime space in Mall of the Emirates and Yas Mall.
