Dubai to get another Mandarin Oriental luxury hotel



The Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has just announced that it will be opening another luxury hotel in Dubai.

Owned and developed by Wasl Asset Management Group, the hotel will be Mandarin Oriental’s second in the city (the first is located in the Jumeriah Beach area and is set to open in second quarter of 2018).

The hotel will be located in Downtown Dubai and is set to be complete by 2020. It will be part of Wasl Group’s multi-purpose tower and feature 257 guest rooms, suites and serviced apartments.

UN Studio are behind the design of the luxury hotel, which will accommodate floors 16 to 38 of Wasl Tower. The 144 residential apartments will be located on the tower’s higher floors.

Aside from uninterrupted views of the Burj Khalifa, the project will offer guests prime access to the area’s bustling business and entertainment sector that includes The Dubai Mall and Dubai Opera.

It will also have a number of the hotel chain’s signature features such as restaurants and a spa with award-winning treatments. The spa will be two-storeys high and will have12 private treatment rooms, an extensive fitness centre, vitality pools, heat and water therapies and an outdoor swimming pool set within a landscaped garden terrace.
