“I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you're looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money... but what I do have are a very particular set of skills. Skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my gorilla go now, that will be the end of it - I will not look for you, I will not pursue you...”

That’s basically what Barasti are saying to whoever took their life-sized gorilla home with them last night.

‘Gorgeous George’ went missing from the beach club yesterday evening and management say that he was a “key part of the tropical jungle created inside the Barasti summer tent.” They believe that a group of guests got a bit carried away and decided to pull a practical joke.

The team at Barasti aren’t taking the incident too seriously, but they’ve decided to launch a social media campaign so that they can be reunited with Gorgeous George. Using the hashtag #BringGeorgeHome, they are making a public plea to the pranksters, saying: “…no questions will be asked as long as Gorgeous George comes back to Barasti to complete the jungle display for the remainder of summer.”

If you know where George is being held, contact Barasti on Facebook.

Disclaimer: Liam Neeson is not currently pursuing the gorilla.
