Dubai International Hospitality Week
To put it simply, the event held at the World Trade Centre is the place foodies, chefs and aspiring restaurant owners. The three day event will see a number of the biggest names in hospitality industry showcase their latest products and cost-effective dining apparel. Aside from cooking appliances, guests can also get their hands on a number cooking ingredients – provided you pay for them of course. And, as it’s a food event, there will, of course be a number of food vendors on site. We recommend heading to MATTO. The Italian restaurant will be showcasing its extensive pizza offering which includes everything from bufalina to patatosa to calzone pizza. Famed pizzaiolo, Guglielmo Vuolo will be on hand to help create both the aforementioned masterpieces as well as some that he has crafted especially for the event. If you’re a fan of the cooking show MasterChef, we recommend that you attend the 2017 Gulfhost Awards and gala dinner which will be held at the Armani Hotel on September 18. Top chefs from across the globe will compete with each other to create a signature dish in just 30 minutes. The winner will be selected by a member of the audience – nothing like a show and a mouthwatering meal.
