Russel Kane live
The energetic British comedian – all pirouettes and skips – is in Dubai for a one-off show at the Madinat Theatre. Think of a cross between the everyman observations of Michael McIntyre and the frenetic absurdity of Lee Evans and you’re somewhere close to his manic, rapid-fire act.

Party in the Park
Liam Gallagher is the headline act for 2017’s Party in the Park. The bill also sees British dance legends The Chemical Brothers pumping up the crowds with an energetic set that’s sure to feature “Hey Boy Hey Girl” and “Push The Button”.

The Beach
To celebrate the new season, The Beach will be hosting a day out that dare we say “will have something for everyone.” The urban venue will be split into three sections – play, enjoy and taste. As its name suggests that play section will feature a number of games and competitions that will be suitable for all ages. Enjoy will feature an ocean of sand bags for all those who want to unwind and enjoy the views of the sea. The taste section, is perhaps our favourite –will feature one massive picnic, where guests can grab their meal of choice – Pots, Pans & Boards, Butcha and Retro Feasts will be there, as will many other outlets – and enjoy it on bench (wooden, obviously), drum or barrel.
When: November 10-11

Café Artois by Bridgewater Tavern
The newly opened waterside venue is the perfect for those looking to unwind over some freshly brewed coffee whilst admiring the stunning views of the Dubai Canal. Aside from being family-friendly, the al fresco venue serves up a number of barbecue delights – think beef, chicken and or seafood cooked to perfection over the charcoal grill. There’s also burgers, salads and light bites (the slow braised beef brisket nuggets –are our favourite) for those feeling peckish.
When: 4pm-2am, Sunday to Thursday and 12pm-2am, Friday to Saturday
