8 great things to do in the UAE this week

Ed Sheeran
Grammy-award-winning Ed Sheeran might well be the single biggest male musical act on the planet right now and it was a mighty relief to all his fans here that he didn’t postpone the Dubai show after his cycling accident a month or so ago. He’s here to support his Divide album, which we assume most of the audience know by heart, but there’s no doubt all the classics will come out, from “Thinking Out Loud” and “Galway Girl” to recent chart busters such as “Shape of You”. The show sold out in about 35 minutes but we think we’ve seen some tickets floating around on Dubizzle for rather more than the original AED295. Hey, it’d be worth it, right? Think of the stories you can tell your grandkids.
