4 places to get Christmas trees in Dubai

Christmas isn’t really Christmas without your living room smelling like a Scandinavian pine forest; for some, the aroma is as essential to the season as cinnamon, chocolate oranges and a slowly roasting turkey. Here are four places you can order your freshly cut and imported tree in Dubai.

Dubai Garden Centre
This mega shop for green-fingered types was receiving their shipment of Nordmann firs from Denmark as we went to press. They range between 2m-2.5m with prices between AED695 and AED795. They have a nice range of stands, too.

ACE Hardware
They do get real trees at ACE but they do tend to go quickly. They come in a range of sizes, too: 1.50m-1.65m (AED399), 1.80m-2.0m (AED499) and 2.10m-2.40m (AED 699). Bonus: you can also buy the lights and the decorations to go with them.

My Green Chapter
This is the first Christmas for the online garden centre that was launched in March this year. They are offering free delivery of Canadian fir trees, whose heights range between 2m-2.4m. From AED590.

Sultan Garden Centre
They’re also getting their trees in around now – end of the first week of December they said – and their batch is coming straight from The Netherlands. The price is dependent on the size, the biggest of which will again be around 2.5 metres.
