Trampoline park opens at Dubai International Airport

It’s no surprise that we, the ShortList team, love trampolines. We’ve tried every park in the nation and were even one of the first to try out BOUNCE’s challenging X-Park racecourse (we’re still recovering).

So, when we heard that BOUNCE, the largest trampoline and entertainment park in the Middle East, has opened a park at the Dubai International Airport of all places, we flipped out.

The temporary park forms part of Winter Wonderland DXB (the larger than life gingerbread house is also worth checking out) which is located in Concourse B of Terminal 3.

Much like its branches in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, it is open to all ages and features a number of hoops, trampolines (obviously), boulder walls and designated parkour sections.

Speaking on the news, Doran Davies, Co-Founder of BOUNCE said: “We’re thrilled to be part of the magical Winter Wonderland DXB, it’s a great way to spread the word about BOUNCE to travelers and residents alike. Our epic team of experts are fully prepped and looking forward to welcoming families throughout the festive period and into the New Year at BOUNCE. ”

The happy news comes just weeks after Hawa Hawa opened at La Mer.

If you have no idea what Hawa Hawa is, let us explain.

It’s a Japanese-born bouncing dune concept that consists of two dunes that total up to seven peaks.

The structure that is made from an all-weather double skin tensile membrane can be used for anything. Be it running, bouncing, skipping, rolling and falling, it can all be done here.

The smaller of the dunes is designed for younger kids, up to six years old, while the larger is for everyone, although there is a weight limit of 99kg. Personally, we think they’d be great for a game of tag.
