5 Dubai destinations that will add life to your Insta feed
We’d be lying if we said photos for Instagram are not one of the first few things that we think about when we discover a destination. We all want to document our visit with that one picture that will get us the likes, comments and, well, followers. So in an attempt to help you, our beloved readers, shoot to social media stardom or just get more than 20 likes on an image, we’ve shortlisted five Dubai destionations that will add some life to your Instagram feed.
La Mer
It is Dubai’s newest beachfront destination and its current offerings include retail and dining outlets like Motomachi, Masti and Loca. A cinema and waterpark are set to open too.

Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood
Get acquainted with the old way of life at Dubai’s restored heritage village where narrow winding lanes open up to little courtyards that house shops, museums and cafes. Every now and then you’ll spot a wall that makes for a great photo opp. Below are two of our favourites…

Jumeirah Beach Residence
The waterfront community facing the Arabian Gulf boasts a shopping and dining promenade. The 1.7km strip is also home to residential towers and multiple hotels. Brightly painted portions of the development give the area an open-air gallery feel. We like.
Bay Avenue
The two-storey block in Business Bay offers indoor retail units as well as outdoor restaurants like La Brioche, Filli Cafe and Chukkers Msokehouse, in addition to a park that features play areas, a walking track and gym equipment. Though the area offers some pretty awesome views of Burj Khalifa, it is the artsy walls that willl grab your attention.

City Walk
Packed with upscale dining concepts like Lima, Bucha and Serendipity3 as well as entertainment attractions such as a cinema and gaming center and stylish boutiques, this urban outdoor destination promises something for everyone. For any Dubai-loving individual, the wall art is probably the best in town.
