Emirates Airline Festival of Literature
More than 180 incredible writers, illustrators and creatives are flying into Dubai from all around the world to mark the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature’s tenth anniversary. There are over 200 sessions, panel discussions and workshops for adults and children taking place over the ten day festival. From classes with our favourite cookbook authors to creative writing workshops with top novelists, plus competitions, performances, storytelling sessions and much more, it’s bound to be a good one. David Walliams, Jacqueline Wilson, Jane Hawking, Kate Adie, Ken Hom, Tony Hawks – it’s a veritable who’s who of the literary world. So, if you’ve ever enjoyed a book – get yourself down to Festival City.

Dubai Food Festival
It’s that time of year again when it’s acceptable to wear your loose-fit trousers and head out to sample a world of cuisine across the city. Dubai Food Festival is bigger and better than ever and over 17 days, will help introduce you to dishes, restaurants and other gastronomic treats from here and across the globe. As well as a wealth of pop-up venues to enjoy, you can expect live cooking demonstrations from famous chefs, catch Sister Sledge at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre and explore fitness classes and more at the special Beach Canteen at the scenic setting on Jumeirah Beach. You really will find something for everyone at this year’s event.

Niu Niu, Chinese Star Pianist
An exceptional piano performance will take place by candlelight in the hotel’s ball room, as 20-year-old Chinese musician Niu Niu takes centre stage. The award-winning talent has been performing since he was six years old and promises to dazzle the crowds with his ivory tinkling skills. Tickets are AED220 and include a three-course meal.

Headline featuring Tim Westwood
Tim Westwood aka the co-owner of Kiss FM and the voice of hip-hop on BBC Radio 1, one of the reasons Kanye West made it in the UK will be spinning live at N’Dulge this Thursday. Fans can expect a set filled with old school classics mixed with some modern day bangers. The 60-year-old Brit will be joined by  local DJ Adam J, and taking over the UKG Terrace will be garage acts Heartless Crew, So Solid Crew’s Oxide and Neutrino with support by Dane Bowers.

Decibel with Emmanuel
Decibel is bringing us a night with Emmanuel, whose music takes influence from his daily emotions and experiences, creating tech and house tunes that are full of energy, drawing in crowds no matter where he’s spinning.
