DEWA can refund your security deposit at any Western Union
The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has partnered up with global leader of money movement, Western Union to allow their customers to refund their security deposit at any of the American company’s branches, including those outside the UAE.
To do so, customers can use Dewa’s website or application. By choosing Western Union as their payout option, customers can retrieve their deposit from any of the company’s branches within minutes.
“This agreement with Western Union is part of our efforts to work with government and private organisations to provide various options and innovative services to our customers. Now, Dewa’s customers who do not wish to transfer the security deposit to another account can request a deposit refund through Western Union and receive the money from any of its branches or agents around the world,” explained Saeed Mohammad At Tayer, managing director and CEO of Dewa.
Which means, you can save quite a bit of time and effort the next time you need to refund your security deposit from Dewa.
