This is where you can watch the Eid al-Adha fireworks in Dubai
In celebration of Eid al-Adha, the three-day Islamic holiday, dozens of malls, hotels and restaurants will host a little something special to help the city celebrate the occasion in style. The biggest and perhaps most spectacular of event that will take place is, of course, the emirate-wide fireworks display. From Tuesday until Thursday, August 23, you can gather at one of the great spots mentioned below, and watch the skies fill with colour and booming explosions. Of course, all of these shows are free – it’s just a case of getting to a prime spot early enough to see it all taking place, which is a lot trickier than it sounds. Some of the spots even feature live entertainment, food stalls and more. Just get down there early, OK?
Ok, here's where you need to be to see the fireworks this Eid al-Adha.
Dubai Festival City
The waterfront mall will be hosting two sets of fireworks displays. The shows will start at 9.30pm and will last until 10.30pm on Wednesday and Thursday.
Aside from a daily firework show that will take place from Tuesday to Thursday at 9.15pm, guests will be treated to a three-day festival that includes a 50 percent discount on dining and shopping. There’ll also be live entertainment and competitions.
The daily firework show will kick off at 9pm from Tuesday to Thursday. There’s a souk nearby for all those who’d like to shop, too.
