This is how much it costs to own a private island in the UAE
We’re going to be honest, we’ve given a lot of thought as to what we would do if we owned our island. It would have waterslides at every corner leading into the water, trampolines and a MASSIVE jumping castle. It would also have a house, with about six bedrooms and a private pool, but we’re more excited about the jumpy castle, obviously. *Pats self on the back*, one day.
But if you have AED80 million to spare, you could be the proud owner of Lebanon. Not the country, of course, but the island that forms part of Dubai’s The World project.
According to property website, Allsopp & Allsopp, the 419,000 sq ft island includes a fully licensed bar, a private beach club, a restaurant that can accommodate up to 80 people at a time and a swimming pool that can comfortably fit 250 people.
We have just one question: WHERE IS THE BOUNCY CASTLE?
Should you have AED80 million and wish to buy the space, do keep us in mind. We aren’t happy about the fact there are no slippy slides or trampolines or jumping castles, but we’ll make an exception.
