There's a giant LED maze in Downtown Dubai
A giant LED maze has sprung up in Downtown Dubai, and it's already pulling in the crowds.
The new zone is called Downtown Light Park and it's open to the public at Burj Park Plaza.
The installation features a spinning mirror that reflects light over nearby landmarks, including the Burj Khalifa.
Meanwhile the colourful maze is built of a mind-blowing 72 acrylic glass panels with a height of 2.20m – and during the night it's illuminated by LED rails.
The new park opens every day at 5pm for visitors to enjoy the attraction at night.
It's on display until February 13 so make sure you go and check it out for yourself.
The park was inspired by the book ‘Reflections on Happiness and Positivity’ by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai.
The attraction is part of a city-wide initiative to bring new interaction to the people of Dubai, whether they be residents or visitors.
Light ART DXB was commissioned by DTCM and made by Athens-based lighting designer George Tellos.
It is the latest art installation curated by DTCM in partnership with Art Emaar, an initiative by the Emaar Group.
Sounds amazing right? You don't want to miss out.
