Cheap e-Scooter service launches in Dubai

KIWIride is a new pay-per-minute e-Scooter service – and it’s just launched in Dubai.

The e-Scooters are available to anyone in the city and are easy to use.

There are currently 600 e-Scooters now available in locations across Dubai.

It's really easy to use.

All you do is download the free KIWIride App from the AppStore or Google Play.

Then register your details, purchase a ride and turn on your location service, which will allow you to find the nearest scooter.

Once you find it, which is honestly easier than it sounds, just scan the QR code which will unlock the scooter, click the accelerate button and you're away.

It's as easy as that.

You don't need a license to use the scooter, obviously, but you do have to be over 14 years old and follow the safety guidelines in the app.

The scooters have been designed as an eco-friendly way for people to make short trips across the city, and they’re created to withstand the Dubai heat too.

Once you've finished using the scooter, just press the brake (pretty self-explanatory) and lock the scooter through the app.

The e-Scooters are really cheap to use too.

To initially unlock them it costs AED2.99, then you’ll be charged 59 fils every minute after that.
