One of Dubai's beach bars is setting up its own football stadium (kind of)
While the football season may be drawing to a close, there are still a few massive matches scheduled to take place, and if you’re looking for somewhere to watch all of the action unfold, head down to Beach Stadium at Hilton Dubai Jumeirah.
With various matters still to be decided at both club and international level, there is no shortage of exciting games taking place over the coming weeks, including two all-English European finals, as well as the UEFA Nations League finals.
At Beach Stadium, which is located at Wavebreaker Beach & Grill, you can watch all of these matches live on a big screen in the garden, surrounded with bean bags in a stadium-like setting, or alternatively settle down in the venue's beachside bar and catch the action on standard screens.
First up, on Wednesday May 29, London rivals Chelsea and Arsenal go head to head in the Europa League final, with managers Maurizio Sarri and Unai Emery both bidding to end their maiden season in charge at the two respective clubs by winning a trophy. That game, which takes place in Azerbaijan, kicks off at 11pm.
Then, on Saturday June 1 at 11pm, it’s the Champions League final with Liverpool, who were beaten finalists last year, taking on fellow Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur in Madrid. Both teams produced unbelievable comebacks in the semi-finals in order to progress, so hopefully another exciting occasion awaits.
On the international stage, Portugal take on Switzerland in the first of the UEFA Nations League semi-finals on Wednesday June 5, with England facing the Netherlands in the second semi the following night. Both of those games kick off at 10.45pm, with the final due to take place on Sunday June 9.
With fantastic offers available during all of the matches, Beach Stadium is the place to be for all footie fans over the next few weeks.
