Play this Pokémon game while you sleep
Who has time to go outside and catch a Pikachu these days? Not us, so this new Pokémon mobile app seems right up our alley.
New game Pokémon Sleep has been announced, and it will let players "wake up with Pokémon every morning". We’re not exactly sure how that works, but we’re all on-board.
We’re pleased to announce the development of Pokémon Sleep, a new app from @Pokemon_cojp that tracks a user’s time sleeping and brings a gameplay experience unlike any other!
Several Snorlax were consulted on this, in case you were wondering. #PokemonSleep is coming in 2020. pic.twitter.com/nJ7mJY09Dl— Pokémon (@Pokemon) May 29, 2019
Pokemon Sleep will use data points like how long the user slept and when they awoke, to change gameplay. Apart from that, there isn’t too much detail as to what to expect.
It aims to "turn sleeping into entertainment by having a player's time spent sleeping, and the time they wake up, effect the gameplay." And we thought sleep was already entertaining enough.
We’ll have to wait until 2020 before experiencing it, but we can imagine us becoming a Snorlax when we play it.
The release of the new mobile app will come along with Pokémon GO Plus +, so the 2016 game is clearly making a comeback.
